James Allen Bunte

James A. Bunte, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Jerrye Bunte; son of the late Oscar and Esther Bunte; devoted father of Jamie Kay Bunte, Jill Remington and her husband, Sean; proud grandfather of McKenzie Remington; and dear brother of William Bunte and his wife, Eileen.

James was born March 7, 1939 to the late Oscar and Esther Bunte. He married the love of his life, Jerrye Cohoon, on February 19, 1966. He proudly served his country in the United States Air National Guard. On July 28, 1964, James received his Aircraft and Engineering Certificate from Parks College. He went on to work for Ozark Airlines for the majority of his career and later retired from TWA after a successful career. James was an Elder at Zion Harvester Lutheran Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, reading, and traveling, especially enjoying cruises. James also enjoyed studying history of the Civil War and World War II era.
