James "Jim" Blubaugh

James “Jim” Blubaugh, of Florissant, MO, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Rita Blubaugh; cherished son of the late Lemuel and Gertrude Blubaugh; devoted father of Belinda (John) Wiesehan, Craig (Nicole) Blubaugh, Colette (Keith) Bellville and Derek (Leigh Ann) Blubaugh; loving grandfather of eleven; treasured great-grandfather of nineteen; dear brother of Dorothy (the late Hap) Whitney and Mary (the late Donald) Schiffman.

Jim proudly and honorably served in the United States Army Reserves. An avid bowler, Jim bowled in many tournaments over the years, and even bowled 20 perfect games. He also loved golfing and was a member of Metro Senior Golf League. Jim spent many Saturdays helping at the Florissant Golf Club and putting smiles on everyone’s faces. “Hit em’ straight in the pearly gates Jim.”

Jim had a gift of making people laugh. His exceptional woodworking skills have given his family many priceless treasures. Jim was a proud family man who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
