James L. Brakensiek

James Leland Brakensiek, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Linda D. Brakensiek; beloved son of the late Leland and Doris A. Brakensiek; devoted father of Cary (John) Beck and Timothy (Susan) Brakensiek; cherished grandfather of Cameron Beck and Blake (Alyssa) Beck; treasured great-grandfather of Grayson Beck; dear brother of Terry (Gail) Brakensiek; caring uncle of Katie Clever and Matt Brakensiek.  

James was former President of the St. Charles Lions Club and actively supported the Boys and Girls Club of St. Charles County. He took pleasure in sports, particularly as a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Mizzou football & basketball. Spending time with his family brought James immense joy. He was deeply cherished and will be profoundly missed by those fortunate enough to have known him.
