James Braun

James Edward Braun, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the age of 76. Cherished son of the late Edward F. and Mary A. Braun. Dear brother of Carol A. (Paul) Bernache; loving cousin and friend to many. 

James proudly served as a veteran of the United States Army and later the Army National Guard. His passion for motorcycles, particularly Harley-Davidsons, led him to attend the Sturgis motorcycle rally twice—once riding his bike and once with a trailer in tow. In addition to motorcycles, James had a deep appreciation for sports cars and was an avid gun enthusiast who enjoyed pheasant hunting in the Dakotas. After retiring, he discovered a love for woodworking, becoming a highly skilled and dedicated craftsman. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in James's name to Veterans Association, American Cancer Society.
