James D. Molitor

Molitor, James D., O’Fallon, Missouri. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the age of 80.

Beloved husband of 58 years to Darlene Molitor.

Loving father of Cindy (Jeff) Bathe, Shari (John) Lennon, Gary (Kimmie) Molitor, and Craig Molitor. Cherished grandfather of Bradley (Jessica) Bathe, Melanie (Greg) Ilgenfritz, Adam Molitor, Lexie Trower, Allison Molitor, and Ashley Molitor; great-grandfather of Wren and Lilly.   Dear brother of Dorothy Coleman, Charles Molitor, Shirley Horstmeier and David Molitor.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Frances Molitor Sr., his siblings, Ralph Molitor, Edith Suenders, Rosemary Wilburn, Leo Molitor, Jr, Joseph Molitor, Vera Burkemper, and Anthony Molitor. Our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jim was a hard worker and good provider. He worked as a cement finisher for 37 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and doing puzzles. He is remembered by many for being able to fix anything. He built his home where he and Darlene lived and raised their children.   Both have been parishioners of Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon, MO for many years. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
