James Doyle Hand

James Doyle Hand, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Frankie Hope Hand; loving son of the late James Bradford and Mamye Hellen Hand; devoted father of Peter (Julia nee Tippit) Hand and Donna Michelle (Bert) Forsyth; cherished grandfather of Samuel B. Forsyth; dear brother of Myrna Darling.
James proudly served in the United States military and was an engineer for the Boeing Company. He loved his family, his children, and his grandson dearly. James loved animals and fishing and had an appreciation for car shows. He was a fierce fighter until the end, yet the gentlest soul you’d ever meet. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in James’ name to the Arthritis Foundation, the Melanoma Research Foundation, and the Humane Society of Missouri.
