James E. Brugmann

Brugmann, James E. 69, O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Loving husband of Judith Brugmann; devoted father of Sherry (Donald) Kopmann, Bryan (Renee) Brugmann, Rebecca (Lee) McCollum, and Kevin (Lindsay) Brugmann; cherished grandfather of Megan, Jacob, Tyler, Collin, William, Clifton, Lucas, and Joshua; dear brother of Mary (John) Maschmeier, and John (Mary Beth) Brugmann. James is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Brugmann, and his mother Ruth Brugmann (who passed when Jim was 6 years old), his loving aunt Dorothy Brassel (who raised him as her own), his infant brothers Charles and William, his infant daughter Renee Brugmann, his son-in-law John Abel, and brother Kenneth Brugmann.
Jim enjoyed tinkering in his shed, working on his car, gardening, and playing with his grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
