James E. Emge

Memorials may be made to SSM Hospice or St. Paul Church. James "Jim" Emge, of St. Paul, Missouri, died on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Jackie Emge; dear son of the late Oscar and the late Regina Emge; devoted father of Dale (Kristin) Emge, Diane (Bill) Griesenauer and Cheryl (Jack) Ingram; cherished grandfather of Jeff, Mark, Keith, Greg, Doug, Dan and Kim; treasured great-grandfather of Clayton, Owen and Madelyn; dear brother of Lucille Sommer, Sr. Dolores Emge, Dennis (Alice) Emge, Robert (Judy) Emge and Charlotte (Bill) Schneider; Jim was loving uncle, cousin and friend to many and he will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his brothers Oscar Emge, Jr. and William Emge. Jim owned and operated Hampton Automotive, Emge Carcraft on Gravois and McCausland Service for many years. He also was a member of St. Paul Knights of Columbus where he voluntarily served 15 years to the Knights of Columbus Sunday Bingo, and he was a member of the O'Fallon VFW Post 5077.
