Proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Retiring after 30 Years of teaching, from Jennings High School as a Chemistry and Biology Teacher, Jim owned the Arrow Liquor in O'Fallon, MO.
He was an avid golfer and loved going to Gold's Gym at least 3 days a week until Covid. He enjoyed a good Manhattan and a Martini, especially while grilling steaks (a two Martini job!). The Greatest Joy in his life was his family. He always advised his family, "Keep it between the ditches and watch your six.” His secret to a long life, "Everything in Moderation."
