James “Jim” Eisenbath, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Madeleine Eisenbath; cherished son of the late Bernard “Boobie” and Lillian Eisenbath; devoted father of Mike (Donna) Eisenbath, Marcia (Frank) Ptacek and Patricia (Brian) Mallory; loving grandfather of Jessica (Donny) Seiffert, Joshua Eisenbath, Erin (Jason Lebold) Eisenbath, Kara (Tom) Jarka, Amy (Joshua) Carroll, Adam (Corey) Ptacek, Connor (Liz) Mallory, Cailin (Tyler) Hooper and Shane Mallory; treasured great-grandfather of Colin, Lukas, Maddie, Lily, Leo, Caleb, Mick and Murphee; dear brother of Doris (the late Ralph) Griesenauer, Kathy (the late Walter) Menne, Ken (Sharon) Eisenbath, the late Betty (Don) Blechle; brother-in-law of the late Frank (Barbara survives) Gorcowski.
Jim was a devout Catholic and was very active in his church. He earned his degree in Mathematics and worked as a computer analyst for Credit Systems Incorporated for over 30 years, then retired as a Vice President at Mastercard International.
But Jim’s true passion was farming. He was a member of Missouri Cattlemen’s Association and was even Cattle Producer of the Year! He was also a founding board member of the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. Jim played baseball in college and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Jim and Madeleine loving traveling all over the world together.
Jim was a warm and kind-hearted gentleman, an outgoing extrovert with a firm handshake that left a lasting impression. Revered as the patriarch of his family, Jim was devoted to his loved ones, serving as their constant support and rock. He was a very proud father and grandfather, whose legacy is one of love, strength, and familial dedication.
Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in James's name to Birthright St. Charles or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
