James G. Walker

James Gordon Walker, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Barbara June Walker; cherished son of the late John E. and Rose Walker. Devoted father of Jodi (Greg) Walker-Lowe, Jamie (Beth) Walker, and Vicki (Jose) Gutierrez; loving grandfather of Kori (Brandon) Vagner, Kelsey Walker, Staci Lowe, and Rebecca Gutierrez, treasured great-grandfather of Walker Vagner, Audra Vagner; dear brother of the late Jack (Ruth) Walker; special friend of the late Dottie Kiehl. James proudly served in the United States Army. His greatest accomplishment was serving on the front line in the Korean war. James was a lifetime member of the VFW hall and American Legion. James had a family farm he took pride in, had a horse that he enjoyed riding even to school. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, and farming. James also loved music and played the guitar and harmonica by ear and loved country music. He also was an avid golfer and loved the casino. Most of all, James enjoyed time spent with family. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
