James Charles “Curly” Heinsz, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Heinsz; devoted son of the late Gerald H. and Catherine W. Heinsz; loving father of Clara Catherine (Will) Puder; cherished grandfather of Hunter; dear brother of Tom (Margie) Heinsz, Kathy (Don) Wilson, Ron Heinsz, and the late Jerry Heinsz; cherished uncle of many.
Curly was a devoted man of God. He was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church as well as the Knights of Columbus. Curly loved his family dearly. He was always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile on his face.
Curly was an avid local sports fan, including the St. Louis Cardinals, the Mizzou Tigers, and the Rams when they were a St. Louis team. He loved being outdoors on the golf course or on his boat at the Lake of the Ozarks. Curly was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A luncheon will be held at Knights of Columbus following services on Friday.
Memorials may be made in Curly’s name to Duchesne High School or the American Cancer Society.
