James Irven Metzger

Metzger, James "Red", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the age of 76; dear son of the late Frederic and LaVerna Metzger; dearest husband of Janet L. Metzger; devoted father of Susan Collins, Thomas (Rachel) Metzger and Mitchell Metzger; beloved grandfather of Patrick Toal, Jessical Toal, Jonathan Metzger, Andrew Metzger, Matthew Metzger, Samuel Metzger, Anna Metzger, James (Anna) Metzger and Vincent Metzger; great-grandfather of Camren Huber; dear brother of John (Lillian) Metzger and Ruth Beebe. He is preceded in death by his sister, Chanin Bell. He was a dear uncle and cherished friend to all. Mr. Metzger was a member of Alrington Methodist Church and I.B.E.W. Local #1 for 54 years, Red enjoyed golfing, wood carving and life to its fullest.
