Beloved husband of Carolyn Hollander (nee: Wiethar); loving father of Steve (Lynn), Rich (Edie), David (Kim), Brian (Lisa), and the late Kenny Hollander; proud grandfather of Abby, Carrie Jean, Shannon, Christine, Michael, Grant, Olivia, Madelyn, Karson, Ian & Nolan; dear brother of Paul Hollander (Jean); preceded in death by parents, Leo and Clara Hollander. Jim founded St. Charles Data Processing in 1962 and in 1987, founded Micrologic Business Systems with offices in St. Charles, Kansas City and Illinois; was very active in St. Charles Jr. Baseball where he received the Claude Jacobs Award for his dedication and support to the organization; active in the St. Charles Jaycees, holding many local and statewide positions; received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award from St. Charles Rotary International; was a fifty-year member of Knights of Columbus Council #823; served on the Board of St. Charles Parks & Recreation Foundation, and was active in numerous other charities and organizations. He was an avid bowler and camper. Memorials may be given to Duchesne High School, St. Peter Church Bldg. Fund, St. Charles Parks & Recreation Foundation, or Masses.
