James “Jim” Kenneth Pipkins, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Ann M. Pipkins; beloved son of the late James W. and Emma Pipkins; devoted father of Ken W. (Linda) Pipkins, Kevin W. (Debbie) Pipkins, and John L. Pipkins; cherished grandfather of Lynn (Derek) Throneburg, Lisa (Brad) Shotts, Grant Pipkins, Grace Pipkins, Liam Pipkins, Jack Pipkins, and Ada Pipkins; great-grandfather of Paige, Paxton, Elliot, and Bea; loving companion of Edie Townshend. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Jim was also preceded in death by his sisters, Vermelle Kelly and Mildred Jordan.
Jim was born in Mississippi and moved to the St. Louis area when he was young. He met his wife, Ann, and they were married prior to his enlisting in the Army. They made their home in Overland. In 1967 Jim and Ann moved to St. Charles where they raised their 3 boys who then blessed them with numerous grandchildren before her death in death in October 2004. Jim was an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his time hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. He loved telling stories. Above all else family was the most important aspect of Jim’s life and loved spending time with them. Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Missouri Department of Conservation.
