James “Jim” Michael Welch

James “Jim” Michael Welch, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Kathy Welch; cherished son of the late Albert and Beverly Welch. Devoted father of Michelle (Justin) Czmowski, and Brian Michael (Erin) Welch; loving grandfather of Ashley Meyer, Braden Lindhurst, Kaia Czmowski, Brody Michael Welch, and Reese Welch; dear brother of Vickie (Joe) Muich and the late David Welch; brother-in-law, father-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jim dedicated many years to Southwestern Bell and then went on to work at Links of Dardenne after retirement. He enjoyed all things outdoors, playing his guitar, and spending time with his family. Family meant everything to Jim, and he loved to share his thoughts and feelings with his children and grandchildren. He was supportive of them in all ways and instilled his values of being cognizant of yourself and others, having respect, and always putting family first. He will always be remembered for his “Welchisms” and the way he cared for others. Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Jim's name to American Cancer Society.
