James “Jim” R. Leistner
December 6, 1953 — March 2, 2022
James “Jim” R. Leistner, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the age of 68. Cherished son of the late Erich and the late Helen (nee Luetkemeyer) Leistner; nephew of Shirley and the late Frederick Leistner; dear cousin, friend, and colleague.
Jim retired after working numerous careers in Industrial Safety, Human Resources and Environmental Project Management. He loved history and enjoyed traveling to historical landmarks. James loved learning about each president and American history as a whole. Reading was one of his favorite pastimes, as well as walking and watching Cardinals baseball. He was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church for many years. Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Jim’s name to a charity of the donor's choice or the Alzheimer's Association.
