James "Jim" West, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the age of 80. Cherished son of the late Virgil L. and the late Bernice C. West; dear brother of Laura (William) Scholten; treasured uncle of Carolyn (David) Fecht and Jane (Travis) Sanders; great-uncle of Laura (Clinton) Frankenbach, Aaron Sanders, Jordan Sanders, and Kalyn (Steven) Kemp; great-great uncle of Connor Frankenbach, Oliver Frankenbach and Brayden Kemp.
Jim proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing, and sports of any kind. He graduated and earned his Masters Degree in accounting from Mizzou and later went on to work there. Jim was a kind man who loved spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
