Dear Husband of Margaret L. Lahmeyer; Dear Son of the late William Lahmeyer and Ethel Thomas; Loving and Devoted Father of Kathy Lahmeyer; Dear Brother of Lori Handley and the late Wanda L. Summers; Dear Half-Brother of Beverly Jean Taylor; Dear Brother-in-Law of Jeff Taylor and the late Jim Handley, Sr.; Dear Nephew of Paul Thomas; Dear Uncle of Kimberly, Becky, Jeri Lynn, the late Jimmy Glen Handley, Jr. and Tamara Joe Faulkenberry; Dear Great-Uncle, Cousin, and Friend to all who knew him. He was employed as an Electrician at Hussman Refrigeration for 28 years. After retiring from Hussman he worked as a car salesman at Tom Casavely Ford in St. Louis for six years. He enjoyed his daily ritual of meeting his good friends at White Castle where they would enjoy each other's company and Jim would have two White Castles and a cup of coffee. He was an avid gardener, who truly enjoyed the beauty of flowers, trees and the outdoors. He loved to sit in his favorite chair and watch TV along with his devoted companion, Bogart, the Miniature Schnauzer, who sat in the other chair next to him.
