James E. McKeever

James Eugene McKeever, of Chesterfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the age of 89. Loving husband of the late Sandra “Sandy” McKeever; beloved son of the late James and Helene McKeever; devoted father of Kathleen (Stephen) Swinney, Mary Ann (David) Denson, and James Patrick (Kathleen) McKeever; dear brother of Harold (Beth) McKeever; cherished grandfather of 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren; treasured "Uncle Jimmy" to numerous nieces and nephews. James is also preceded in death by his seven older brothers.

Jim was a proud lifelong member of Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 268. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force Reserve in the 1950s. Throughout his life, Jim was deeply committed to his passions and pursuits. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals. He found solace and joy in fishing, golfing, and boating. Jim’s spirit of generosity was evident through his decision to become a national tissue donor, providing the gift of life to others.

Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Jim’s name to the Humane Society of Missouri.
