James Michael Steed, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Donna Steed; cherished son of Gloria and the late Robert Steed; devoted father of James Michael (Heidi) Steed, Jr.; dear brother of Barbara (the late Jack) Oliver, Robert (Kitty) Steed, Jr., Carol (Lenny) Green, Patricia (the late James) Nobles, Betty (Robin) Satterley, and Jacqui Steed; loving grandfather of Colin Steed and Nathan Steed; treasured uncle, relative, and friend to many.
James is also preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Steed.
James was a faithful member of Assumption Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, and always enjoyed attending their sporting events; he was their biggest cheerleader. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James' name to the American Cancer Society.
