James P. Felder, M.D.

Dr. James P. Felder, long time surgeon in the St. Charles community, died Thursday, May 21, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue (Pierce); children: Danny, Blaise (Kathy Pohl), Peter, Jimmy, Claire, Eric, Andrea (Danny Williams); grandchildren: AJ (Katherine Estes), Aaron, and Drew Felder, Hannah, Elizabeth and Alexandra Felder, Anna, Caroline, Maria, and Jane Williams, Maggie and Ben Alexander; great-grandchildren: Rex and Beaux Felder, Porter Felder; Brothers: Jerry (Mary) Felder and John Felder.
Jim was born in Corpus Christi, TX, on January 13, 1934, and raised in El Segundo, CA. He earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University of Los Angeles prior to graduating from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1957. He was a proud veteran of the US Army and Navy.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church, 301 First Capitol Dr., St. Charles, MO on Thursday, May 28th at 10:00 a.m. His body has been donated to SLU School of Medicine. All are welcome to gather after mass in the Parish Center for refreshments and remembrance.
