Dear husband of the late Betty Lou Henkel; dear son of the late Blaine and Lillian Henkel; loving father of Larry (Karen) Oakley and Terry (Theresa) J. Henkel; proud grandfather of Stephanie, Kelly, Dean, Jolene and Chad; dear great-grandfather of Miles, Blake and Logan; dear brother of Blaine Henkel, William Henkel, Beverly Bowman, Darlene (Bob) Noah, the late Thomas Henkel, the late Donald Henkel, and the late June Wallace; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to all who knew him. Proud Papa of his buddy, Rowdy. He was owner of The Golden Buffet in St. Charles, Missouri for 27 years. He was a member of VFW St. Charles #2866, American Legion Post #312, and Honorary Member of Pikers Club. He served in the 1st Beach Battalion in the U.S. Navy, during WWII.
