James R. “Jimmy” Powers

Powers, James R. "Jimmy" Our beloved son passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the age of 50 after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother, Sharon (Bob) Walters, father, James E. "Jim" Powers; brother, Tim Powers; grandmother, Vella Brooks; aunts, Jean Schell, Denise Brooks, Debra (Mike) Seagraves, Patricia (Steve) Baker, Mary Jo Bailey and uncle, Doug Brooks; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Jimmy was a 1979 graduate of Pattonville High School. He loved photography, pool, sports, collecting coins and baseball cards, music and hiking with his dog, Molly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Children's Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
