Dear son of Stephen Melton and Kathryn Melton; dear brother of Michelle G. Melton; dear grandson of Margaret Tuttle, Tommy P. and Ina L. Melton; beloved nephew, cousin and friend to many. James graduated in 1999 from Fort Zumwalt South High School. He was a computer science major and math minor at Truman State University; active in competitive gymnastics while in high school, Region 3 Class 5 Men's Champion in 1995; Aca-demic All-American with the US Association of Gymnastics in 1998-1999 and a member of Calvary Chapel of St. Louis County.
