Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Williams) Wion; dear father of Dana (Edward) Downing, Tracey (James) Leonard, Samantha (Kirstin) Flint, Benjamin Wion, Casey (Chance) Payne, Jennifer (Christopher) Stoces, Trey (Kimberly) Coad; dear grandfather of Heather (Doug) McCormack, Sarah Rosenkoetter, Caitlin Downing, David (Paige) Rosenkoetter, Harrison Payne, Grant Payne, Matthew Coad, Cooper Stoces, Caleb Coad, Luke Coad; dear great-grandfather of Rileigh McCormack, Noah McCormack, Paige McCormack and Lorraine Rosenkoetter; dear brother Jerry (Pat) Wion; dear uncle, cousin and friend.
Born in Willow Springs, Missouri to James Everett Ray and Thelma Flora (nee Ledbetter) Ray. On June 25, 1956 he became the son of Merlin Claire Wion and Thelma Flora (nee Ledbetter) Wion. Jim grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and went on to play Hockey at Colorado State University.
Mr. Wion was a retired Systems Analyst at McDonnell Douglas over 40 years, Endowed member and Past Master of Pride of the West Masonic Lodge No. 179, A.F. & A.M. St. Charles, MO, Past District Deputy of the Grand Lodge of Missouri, and Past Patron of Alexander Chapter #242 Order of Eastern Star, St. Charles, MO and a Member of the Missouri Scottish Rite
James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
