Janice “Jan” Montana Stinson (nee Brasher), of Wright City, MO, ascended into eternal paradise Monday, June 24, at the age of 76.
Jan was born by her mother Onetia Norris (nee Brasher) August 31, 1947 in Samantha, Alabama. Jan was a graduate of Ritenour High School and St Charles Community College, and held proud careers as Secretary at Assumption Catholic grade school and 57 years of service as an aerospace quality control specialist at Tech Manufacturing.
Jan is preceded in her death by her husband and partner William Benjamin Stinson, her eldest son William Anthony Stinson, and grandson William Gabriel Stinson.
Jan is survived by her children Joseph Michael Stinson, Gregory Chester Stinson (Nichole Torpea), Charles (Chelsea) Eugene Stinson; her grandchildren Cheney Koch, Mercedes Rose Stinson, Haley Sophia Stinson, Blake Edward Stinson, and Denzel Stinson; her great grandchildren Ryan Byvik, Fox Koch, and Mazikeen Stinson; sister Brenda, brother Danny (Dianna); and niece and nephews Daniel, Kevin, Tina, and Christopher.
Jan was a devoted Christian who lived to serve all that she would meet with care, kindness, and compassion. There was no exception. She truly lived to bring childlike wonder and motherly love to every family member, friend, co-worker, and stranger. Her selflessness cannot be overstated. She loved us all and wanted nothing but the best for each and every one of us. She will be greatly missed by so many.
