Jane Wist

Jane Wist of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, George and Nannie Massie; her treasured grandchildren, Sara Rish and Travis Alexander Wist; and her dear siblings, Lela Gabbard, Myrl Massie, Norman Massie, and Roy Massie.

Jane is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Wist; her loving children, Judy Rish, Randy (Tonya) Wist, and Donald (Terrie) Wist; her cherished grandchildren, Philip Rish, David Rish, and Christopher Wist; her great-grandchildren, Gabriel Rish, Emily Rish, Mackenzie Beaird, Karlee Beaird, Ayden Wist, and Aspen Wist; and her dear siblings, Coy Massie and Earnestine Hankins.

Jane was fond of sewing and gardening and was proud of her beautiful garden where she grew vegetables and flowers. She was very accomplished in the kitchen and loved to cook delicious meals for her family and baked many treats over the years to satisfy her husband’s famous sweet tooth. Her loving, nurturing, and caring nature was a source of strength to her loved ones and she brought them much joy with her wonderful sense of humor. She was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
