Janet C. Schaefer

Janet C. Schaefer of St. Peters, MO, passed Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the age of 75. Cherished daughter of the late Raymond W. and Goldie I. Weyrauch; devoted mother of Edward (Stacy) Schaefer; loving grandmother of Connor Schaefer and Austin Schaefer; dear sister of the late Stanley Weyrauch and sister-in-law of Elizabeth Weyrauch; treasured aunt of Robin Mathes; and adored great-aunt of Hannah Mathes.

Janet dedicated many years and touched many hearts during her time as an in-home caregiver. Before her change of careers, she owned Pet Stock in Festus, MO for more than 30 years, but always extended a helping hand to those in need. Janet deeply loved her family, always putting them first, and never missed a morning to put her grandsons on the bus to school. She will be remembered for her golden heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
