Janet Mignon Jones

Janet Mignon Jones (nee Alderdice), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Jerrel Dan Jones; beloved daughter of the late Alice and Connie Alderdice; devoted mother of Richard Jones; cherished grandmother of Michael Jones, Nichole (Robert) Jones-Todd, Josh Oberhaus, and Jason (Taylor) Jones; dear sister of Doris (the late RT) Alderdice-Morris, and Kenneth (Joann) Alderdice; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mignon was also a dear cousin and friend. Mignon is also preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Jones, and Greg Jones; and her sisters, Carolyn Alderdice, and Johnni Ruth (Noah) Alderdice-Brown.  

Mignon cherished her family and relished the time spent with her sons. A passionate reader, she never let go of a book and found joy in solving crossword puzzles. Her profound love will be deeply felt, and she will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
