Janet Schlattmann

Janet Schlattmann (nee Hylton), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of William John Schlattmann; cherished daughter of the late Matthew Martin Hylton and Mary Lorraine McInerny. Devoted mother of Michael F. (Jan) Caimi, John R. Caimi, and Brian D. (Sue) Caimi; loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Evans, Nancy Gallagher; son, Steven Caimi; and brother, Robert Hylton.

Janet was a Charter Member of the Alpha Players and had a deep love for slalom skiing, being on the water, and feeling the warmth of the sun on her face. Her faith was important to her, and while she had a strong relationship with God, she felt a special devotion to Mother Mary. An avid reader, she also enjoyed the timeless music of Frank Sinatra. Above all, Janet was a loving and devoted wife, cherishing 60 wonderful years of marriage. Janet was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Janet's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital ( St Jude Donation ). 

A memorial service will be scheduled in the future to celebrate Janet's life.
