Janice Elaine Schack

Janice “Jan” Schack (nee Mannabach), age 69, of Florissant, Missouri, Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Beloved wife of Earl Schack of 49 years; cherished daughter of the late Carl and Pearl Davis; devoted mother of Bryan (Susan) Schack and Melissa Schack; loving Ma Ma of Sydney Elaine, Connor, and Lydia; and dear sister of Karla Templeton and David Davis.

Jan was a registered nurse for many years. She attended the Jewish School of Nursing and taught at Sanford-Brown and St. Charles Community College. In her free time, she enjoyed, reading, shopping, scrapbooking, going out to dinner with family, and spending time with her beloved dogs. Jan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the big family gatherings during the holidays. She will be remembered for being a kind, patient and a good listener, but most of she was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, and “Ma Ma”. Jan was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
