Jannette Imogene Reed

Jannette “Jenny” Imogene Reed (nee Wells), of Foristell, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late William Sattler; cherished daughter of the late Thomas W. and Bertle V. Wells; devoted mother of William Sattler Jr., the late Karen Fitch, and the late Cheryl "Sally" (Art) Ahearn; loving grandmother of Deborah (Tim) Campbell, Linda (Curtis) Martinez, Lisa (Kevin) Gell, David (Trish) Propst, Elinor Sattler, Alice Sattler, the late Lori Elizondo, the late Leslie Fitch, and the late Karri Ahearn; treasured great grandmother of Michelle, Sean, Joshua, Randy, Jeremy, Holly, Tiffany, Timothy, Anthony, Stacey, Shane, Nick, Andy, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Chelsea, and Tyler; beloved great-great grandmother of 13; dear sister of the late Geraldine; loving aunt.

Jenny shared the last 30 years of her life with Mr. Harry Reed, whom she loved very much. She was a proud member of the Eastern Star OES and Grand Commandery Knights Templar St. Louis, MO. She loved traveling and often took wonderful pictures of amazing scenery from right behind her camera. Jenny was raised on a farm in Farmington. She was a beautiful storyteller. Possessing a phenomenal memory, she could tell you the exact route from her trips and journeys. Everyone that met her loved her. She was very sweet and gentle, never a complainer, always grateful. Jannette was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
