Jason C. Oesterreicher of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 51 on Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cynthia Oesterreicher.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Jo Oesterreicher; his brothers, Jeremy Oesterreicher and Mathew (Molli Ksionsk) Oesterreicher; his nephews, Brandon Oesterreicher and Max Oesterreicher; his parents-in-law, Bill and Sheri Launer; his siblings-in-law, Rich and Dodi Walker; his nieces, Hope and Paige Walker; and his fur babies, his dog Cliff and his cats Gus, Oliver, and Pepper.
After moving to St. Louis in 1993, Jason worked as a security officer for Webster University and as a Reserve Officer for Chesterfield. Around 1995 he began working as a police and fire dispatcher for the cities of Crestwood, Brentwood, and now Ladue for the past three years.
Jason had a special place in his heart for animals and treasured the companionship of his pets. He was an avid football fan who enjoyed playing Fantasy Football and managing his players. Jason was an automobile enthusiast and loved to do drawings to make his loved ones smile and laugh. Everyone loved Jason for the fun-loving way that he enjoyed life and he loved his family greatly. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in Jason’s name may be made to the family, checks payable to Jason’s beloved wife Angie Oesterreicher.
