Jay N. Wehmeier, of Florissant, MO, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at the age of 60. Loving husband of 38 wonderful years to Sharon Wehmeier; beloved son of the late Walter and Betty Wehmeier; devoted father of Katherine (Wade) Dickson, Kelley (Curtis) Sikes, and Kayla Wehmeier; cherished grandfather of Sawyer Sikes and Beckett Dickson; dear brother of Jill (Mike) Cooper. Also survived by his mother-in-law, Janice Courtney, and loving nieces and nephews.
Jay was a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, son-in-law, brother- in- law, uncle, and friend to many. He was the dad of all dad’s and loved his girls. If you thought Jay loved his girls then you know he absolutely loved his wife. Jay was known for his strong work ethic and retired from his career at UPS after over 30 years. He was an avid sports fan, loved watching Cardinals baseball and loved classic cars. Jay also enjoyed shooting pool and spent many hours outdoors in his flower beds and lounging in the pool. To know Jay was to love him. He had a smile to light up any room and an infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jay's honor to the
American Cancer Society.
