Jay Trout

Jay Trout, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Patti G. Trout; cherished son of Phyllis and the late William Trout; son-in-law of Jerome Zeilman; devoted father of Kym (Ryan) Meyer and Jennifer (Ben) Waggoner; loving grandfather of Bella Waggoner, Grant Meyer, Anna Meyer, Livie Waggoner, Braden Waggoner and Cassie Waggoner; dear brother of Kelly (Pat) Doherty and Holly Trout. Jay was loved by many other family and friends.  

Jay had a big personality, and he loved his Challenger, which he named Maybil. He had a high attention to detail and perfection which translated into his work ethic. Jay loved big kites and fireworks, he even intended to become licensed in pyrotechnics and loved blowing things up. He loved carving and blowing up pumpkins. Jay was also an excellent baker and loved to treat those around him. In his later years he touched into his artistic side. Most of all he loved his grandchildren very much. Jay was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Jay's name to The Jordyn Morgan Memorial Foundation or American Cancer Society.
