Jean McCarthy

Jean Dianne McCarthy (nee Boone), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Denny McCarthy; cherished daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Boone; devoted mother of Loyal Stern and Laura (Jesse) Odom; loving grandmother of Mallory, Cameron, Calvin and Sid; dear sister of Janet (Ray) Trudeau; treasured aunt of Chris (Michelle) Trudeau; loving cousin to Shirley Dubbs and Randy Joekel; Jean is also survived by her dear friend, Ann Winkelman.

Jean deeply cherished her children and grandchildren, always keeping family at the heart of everything she did. Jean had a love for travel, and she and her husband, Denny, shared many adventures over the years. Some of their most treasured memories came from trips to Colorado, Yellowstone National Park, and the Grand Canyon, places that left a lasting impression on their hearts.

Jean had a special love for "glamping" in their motor home, enjoying the beauty of nature while bringing along the comforts of home. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a dedicated member of Big Creek Church, where she found joy and strength in her relationship with Christ. Jean was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

There will be a celebration of life memorial service at Big Creek Church in memory of Jean on Wednesday 10/23 at 10:00 AM and all are invited.
