Jeanne Hyde (nee Potier), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Paul Homer Hyde; cherished daughter of the late August, Jr. and Anita Potier; devoted mother of Paula (Don) Tompkins, Pamela (the late John) Allen, Patti (Ed) Hurley, Penny (Lyle) Trippe and Paul (Amy) Hyde; loving grandmother of Dustin, Tiffany, Samantha, Patrick, James, Nicholas, Regan, Lila, Henry, the late Danielle and the late Andrew; great-grandmother of Sophia and Carter; loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Jeanne Hyde, a devoted member of First Baptist Church of St. Charles, passed away, leaving a legacy of love, faith, and joy. Known for her role as a “Christian Clown,” Jeanne brightened countless lives through her performances at children’s parties and nursing homes, sharing laughter and warmth with all she met. Alongside her husband, Paul, she was actively involved in youth ministry and participated in numerous church trips and Bible studies, making a lasting impact on her community.

Jeanne’s greatest joys were rooted in her faith, whether reading her beloved Bible, listening to Gospel music, or spending time at Woodland Lakes. Her life reflected her deep love for God, family, and friends, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
