Jeannine D. Rapp

Jeannine D. Rapp (nee Sutherland), age 89, died at home on February 21, 2022, St. Peters, MO. She was born at home in Kansas City, KS. Some of her happiest years were spent with her family on a farm near Milo, MO. She was married to Buford Merle Rapp on November 2, 1951, in Platte City, MO. who preceded her in death on October 16, 2006. Jeannine left many behind who loved her deeply; a son, James Patrick Rapp; two daughters, Merle Marlene McCarty, and Christine Elaine Biggs. She left two brothers; Lawrence Sutherland and Leonard Sutherland (who affectionately called her LSOGC), three sisters; Ethel Phillips, Patricia Mather, and Juanita Scharig. Eleven grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. She loved and served her Savior from her baptism at Milo Baptist Church. She is known by Him and will continue to be with Him for all eternity. Here on this earth, she was spicy, kind, filled with life and love. She was known by her grandfather as Jenny Wren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
