Dear husband of Joyce Burton, dear father and father-in-law of Terri Thompson and Karen Gray (Mike); grandfather of Erin & Kristin Thompson, and twins, Dylan & Peyton Gray. Preceded in death by parents, Jeff and Olive Burton and brother, Donovan Burton. Member of Sigma NU Fraternity at Washington University, Alton Kiwanis Club,Active member of Church of the Master UCC where he served on the Church Stewardship Board. Mr. Burton was a partner with Scheffel & Co., a CPA firm, until his retirement.
