Jeffrey Nicholas "Nick" Ostrander

Jeffrey Nicholas Ostrander, known to his friends and family as Nick, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at the age of 18. Cherished son of Jeffrey and Rebecca Ostrander; loving grandson of Lura & Mike Horsfall; Mike & Elaine Ostrander; and Dorothy & Leslie Blair, Jr.; dear brother of Alexandria Ostrander and Gabriel Ostrander.

Nick was a graduate of Fort Zumwalt East High School. He was involved in many activities there, including the varsity volleyball team, the varsity swim team, and the school band as a percussionist. He was also active outside of school, including participating as a member of the Rec-Plex Sharks swim team and the Modulation Z winter drum line and working as a lifeguard for the City of St. Peters pools.

Nick studied computer science at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. He dreamed of becoming a pilot and was active in Air Force ROTC and intramural volleyball.

Nick was a generous and dedicated friend who always made himself available when help was needed. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
