Jeffrey Scott Strait

Jeffrey Scott Strait, of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the age of 36. Beloved son of Jeffrey Alan and Pamela Michelle Strait, he was born July 24, 1985, at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO. Dear father of Hazel Louise Strait; brother of Jamie Michelle (Tim) Quagliata, Elly Donna (Zach) Lawrence and Mary Rose (Justin) Brady; grandson of Eleanor “Juanita” and the late Charles Calvert, and the late James and Charlotte Strait; uncle; nephew; cousin; and friend. 

Jeffrey graduated from Pattonville High School in 2004. He attended Southeast Missouri State University and Lindenwood University. He worked with his dad and uncle’s Strait Floor Company doing floor installation, and for Tuff Shed doing shed and outdoor storage construction. 

He enjoyed cooking, floating, camping, and fishing. He loved watching movies, and probably saw every horror movie ever made. Jeffrey had a kind heart and could easily make you laugh. He was always up for a good time and loved hanging out with friends. He will be dearly missed by many who loved him. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Jeffrey’s name to the Humane Society of Missouri or Ronald McDonald House Charities.
