Jerry B. Hamley

Jerry B. Hamley, 84, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Patricia (Dorsey) Dent; grandchildren, Chris Kothe, Lauren Ann Hamley, Jeremy Hamley, Victor Hamley, and Tara Dent; great-grandchildren, Ross Kothe, Kyle Kothe, and Savannah Hamley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Hamley, his parents, Bernard and Anna M. Hamley, and a son Robert J. Hamley. Mr. Hamley was a WWII Merchant Marine Veteran and was retired from McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis and was a proud and dedicated Union member. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Loyal Order of Moose, National Rifle Association, Elk Club, and a longest tenured member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in O’Fallon. Mr. Hamley also loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone United Methodist Church.
