Jerry B. Wheeler

Jerry B. Wheeler, of Wright City, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Barbara June; cherished son of Chester Wheeler and Maybelle Duncan; devoted father of Carole and her late husband Charles “Chuck” Dankenbring, Jerry Wheeler Jr., and the late Kimberley Ann Wheeler; loving grandfather of Crystal and husband Brian Scheman; treasured great-grandfather of Olivia Scheman; dear brother of the late Neales Wheeler; dear step-brother of Chester and wife Patricia Lee and the late Marie Rabe and husband Dave. Jerry was also survived by other cousins, relatives and friends.

Jerry was a long-time member of Elks Lodge #2316 in Florissant, Elks Lodge #2662 in Warrenton, and the former Eagles Auxiliary #254 in Alton, IL. He loved music, enjoyed being an entertainer at many events, had an amazing voice and was always ready to sing. Jerry had many talents, in later years, he even learned to play organ and piano. Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
