Jerry T. Donaldson

Jerry T. Donaldson, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Connie J. Donaldson; cherished son of the late Tornie and Ruth Donaldson; devoted father of Jeff (Christine) Donaldson, and Brian Donaldson; loving grandfather of Connor Donaldson, Chandler Donaldson, Jacqueline Donaldson, Rachel Donaldson, and Pierce Donaldson

Jerry proudly and honorably served in the United States Army as a paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne and was a member of ALPA. A man with a strong work ethic, Jerry was raised on a farm and as a child was always fascinated with all the machinery, which later led him to aviation where he started flying a single engine plane. He first began working for the railroad, but with the encouragement of his flight instructor, Jerry went to Colorado to earn his multi-engine rating. He began his flying career as a commercial airline pilot with Ozark Airlines. He retired as a Captain for TWA Airlines. Jerry enjoyed watching western movies and was a huge John Wayne fan. He also enjoyed golfing, especially reaching the 19th hole, boating, and traveling with his beloved, Connie. Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
