Jerry L. Grooms
June 6, 1935 — January 22, 2018
Jerry L. Grooms of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at the age of 82. Beloved husband for 60 wonderful years of the late Dian Grooms; cherished son of the late Maurice and Lorene Grooms; devoted father of Kathy (Greg) Lasater, Sandi Grooms, and Nancy (Mark) Czapliskie; loving grandfather of Melissa, Melanie, Morgan, Natalie, Jake, AJ, and Todd; treasured great-grandfather of Hunter, Zoey, Gavin, J.J., and Tavin; and dear brother of Jacqueline (Dale) Bushor. He was preceded in death by his cherished granddaughter Michelle Dian Lasater.
Jerry was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and was a member of the Masons AF & AM. He liked collecting miniature cars, trucks, and trains and enjoyed viewing old Western films, especially those starring John Wayne. One of his greatest joys however, was tending his beautiful lawn. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many. Jerry was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
