Jessie Luraine Scott

Jessie Luraine Scott joined her husband, Bueal B. Scott, her two sons, Kevin B. and Charles K., her granddaughter Tasha, and her grandson Tyson in Heaven on August 12th, 2024 in the comfort of her home with family by her side. 

She was born in St. Louis on September 14th, 1937 to Charles Alvin Hall and Corda Alice Hall. She was raised in St. Louis where she met and married Bueal B. Scott. They made their home in Orchard Farms near St. Charles, Missouri. There, they welcomed their 5 beautiful children; Lynette K. Scott (Adkins), Regina E. Scott (Lambert), Kevin B. Scott, Charles “Chalkie” K. Scott, and Kelly B. Scott. 

She resided in Joplin, Missouri for the last 30 years of her life.

Jessie loved the Lord and her family, very much. 

Always smiling. Jessie was the brightest light in any room. She had a big, fun loving personality and a very witty sense of humor. She was incredibly caring, generous and kind. 

She had many hobbies which included sewing, embroidering, shopping, and adventuring. 

She loved her life and loved her family and friends. 

Jessie is survived by her 10 grandchildren, who lovingly called her Meemom. Her grandchildren include Keith Coffey, Amy Vaughn, Jessica Coffey Scott, Cody Adkins, Sarah Lauer, Emily Atkinson, Hannah Lambert, Sherry Ann Scott, Jaylean Scott & Kaydee Scott. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. 

She will be remembered by many.
