Jewell Petty of St Peters, MO, passed Friday, March 16, 2018, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Velma L. Petty; cherished son of the late Roland and Irene Ann Petty; devoted father of the late Tim Roland Petty and the late Mary Jane Petty; loving grandfather of Richard (Christina) Ortiz; and treasured great-grandfather of Aiden Ortiz, Sophia Schnarre and Catherine Schnarre.
Jewell proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean war before returning home and dedicating more than 30 years as an insurance agent before retiring. He was an avid bowler and was inducted into the St. Charles Amateur Bowling Hall of Fame. Jewell was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made to the organization of Donor’s choice in Jewell’s honor.
