Jim Spain, age 78, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Spain; cherished son of the late Ray and Marie Spain; devoted father of David (Jackie) Spain and the late Richard Spain; and loving grandfather of Abigail (Codi) Labeda, Alex (Bridget Mahoney) Spain, and Hannah Spain. He was also a uncle, great-uncle, and dear friend.
Jim was an avid fan of St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife, Audrey. Jim always looked forward to lunching with his work buddies and enjoying traditional birthday lunches with his extended family. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time his family, especially his grandchildren. Jim was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
