We are sad to announce the passing of Jimmie Lee Butts on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the age of 85.

Jimmie preceded the death of her beloved husband Harold Leon Butts, Jr. She was the beloved daughter of James and Anna Merritt. Beloved sister of the late Glenna Jones and the late Rhonda DeClue. Devoted mother to Cheryl (Dave) Harmon and Cynthia Gross. Cherished grandmother, also known as Grammy, to Anna (Shawn) Muselman, Gabe (Julie) Willen, Ryan (Ashley) Willen, and Shelby (Brad) Baber. Great grandmother (GG) to Robert, Sadie, Peyton, Amelia, Henry, Oliver, and Emily.

Jimmie was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Jimmie was a florist for many years and took pride in her floral creations. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and watching TV. Most of all, Jimmie loved her family and friends. Jimmie is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who know her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
